Yoga is evolving.

I envision a future in which people are comfortable feeling their feelings and are truly free, from their own past conditioning and the opinions of others. In this new world, unity dominates over difference and wisdom takes priority over mere information and knowledge; celebration and joy are a common experience around the world; people are simultaneously transcendent and acting dharmically in the material plane.

My Vision

A Path with Heart

I teach yoga to help people let go of fear, develop self-acceptance, and experience their inherent bliss nature in order to become more relevant and joyful in the world.

I fell in love with yoga sixteen years ago, when I wandered into a yoga studio as a stressed out corporate technology lawyer and experienced a deep sense of peace in śavāsana. It wasn’t long before I did his my yoga teacher training. Twelve years ago I started teaching vinyasa and hatha yoga in San Francisco, California.

My influences include Hatha Yoga, Bhakti Flow, Himalayan Kundalini, classical Tantra, and the Babaji / Yogananda tradition. In the past seven years I has been focused on exploring the breadth and depth of the Yog-Vedantic traditions, authentic yoga, and the energetic practices of yoga like kriya, mantra, and pranayama, as well as Vedic astrology.

I teaches yoga, breathwork, kriya, and meditation, and offers integrative yoga and plant medicine workshops, courses, retreats, and trainings all over the world.

My public, private, and online classes are holistic, dynamic, fun, and designed to encourage my students to unearth their highest selves, and to reach their greatest potential. Ultimately, I wants to make my students’ experience of yoga one of connection, love, surrender, celebration, and compassion. I see my life’s mission as one of leading people to increasing values of liberation and expansion.

Holistic Yoga

The outer journey.

“Surrendering fully to being lost — and this is where the art comes in — you will discover that, in addition to not knowing how to get where you had wanted to go, you are no longer so sure of the ultimate rightness of that goal. By trusting your unknowing, your old standards of progress dissolve and you become eligible to be chosen by new, larger standards, those that come not from your mind or old story or other people, but from the depths of your soul. You become attentive to an utterly new guidance system.”
